The evening is designed to encourage you to utilise all your senses when discovering your brand, not just sight. The workshop will be ran by Simon Harmer and Bee Jacobs. Using scents, sounds and textures they will guide you through a sensory exploration to find your brand essence.
About Simon:
Simon has been working in the creative industry for twenty years. Originally trained as an illustrator, he has been commissioned by Mazda, Tate Galleries, The Guardian and Hugo Boss. As Founder of Marmalade on Toast, he has led an award-winning creative studio to over ten years of success, working with clients such as Harrods, Samsung and Unilever. His focus is on how creativity and design add real value to companies, and how a strong brand is at the core of it all.
About Marmalade On Toast:

They craft work with strategic thought built-in, aiming to change people's perceptions through timeless creative.
They help brands generate and tell their stories through a multitude of disciplines, with informed design at the core. Marmalade on Toast work with many brands from many different sectors, including Tom Ford, Estée Lauder, Harrods, Castle Galleries and Airsys. They constantly design and develop new ideas for clients, but always keep them simple, easy to use, beautiful to look at and with engagement at the heart.
About Bee:
Bee’s early years in Illustration set her up for a life of creative problem-solving: creating a blend of the verbal and visual always produces something twice as powerful. After years writing and concept-creating on marketing and experiential campaigns for the Hilton, Diageo and Mars portfolios, she was keen to get to the source of it all: branding. Once she started creating brand identities, identifying their essences, and building in meaning and richness, there was no turning back. It’s a process that fulfils the aim of any writer - to pursue and express a truth.
After the workshop, there will be a chance to meet and chat to other like-minded women in Winchester, to enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake and to relax - ready to continue your branding journey the next day! If last year is anything to go by, this workshop is likely to sell out fast, so be quick, there are limited spaces available.
Tickets are £14.50 and include all materials, tea & coffee and cake.
